User e-mail is made public even though it says it won't be

Under the user e-mail field in the My Account > Edit page, and also in the new account page, the following message is written:

A valid e-mail address. All e-mails from the system will be sent to this address. The e-mail address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by e-mail.

That is untrue, because when a user posts a message in the forums his e-mail is made public in the mailing lists.

This message should be rewritten to make clear that the user's e-mail would be made public if he posts in the forums.
