Hello !
My problem is in the title.
Two things. These lines are ugly and prevent me from having the screen scroll information when I modifice grub.
Thank you.
Hello Caca!
If it's what i think then it seems you have the same problem i had. Follow the guide of jxself's repository at https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/update-linux-libre-kernel . It solved my problem. I hope it solves yours. Best regards.
So if I do this, the kernel is definitely still linux-libre and not just linux, correct?
Edit: nvm I can't read xD
Yes that is rigth :)
Thank you.
When I enter this command: "apt-get install linux-libre64 linux-libre64-headers", the result is:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package linux-libre64
E: Unable to locate package linux-libre64-headers
Why?
Did you remember to update the package cache as instructed?
Yes...
The problem must be on your end because, as you can see, those packages clearly exist:
http://linux-libre.fsfla.org/pub/linux-libre/freesh/pool/main/l/
Please be sure that you're following the instructions on my website exactly and are not skipping anything: http://jxself.org/linux-libre/
Thank you Aprendiz_de_linux! Now the boot up screen is gorgeous!
You're welcome. But the thanks needs to go to jxself because he is the one that solved my problem :P
