Label designing & printing software.

Hi,

I have a thermal label printer (GoDex500). I'm looking for a program to design label templates & print in batch based on a .txt, .xml or .csv file with data (the data to be printed in certain fields of the design). The printer comes with a proprietary program from the manufacturer (for windows) called GoLabel that seems to do just that. Does anyone have experience doing this with free software? Any recommendations?
